Reclining Buddha

Today we decided to do something cultural and visit the reclining Buddha. The ferries are still running and while the water is still high it reaches around the same level at high tide each day. The piers are all a bit underwater but not so much as to be unusable. All the pontoons are pretty much at maximum height though. The temple was very busy and we found some of the Indian tourists quite pushy. Even more entertaining was the Eastern European tour group who were dressed to impress. Definite Eurovision song contest fashion sense!

The temple was beautiful and the Buddha very impressive.
