Dinner and Cocktails at The Beach

Feeling pretty tired after a long day we decided to go to the resort restaurant for dinner. We started things off with a couple of Mojitos as the beers in the afternoon had perked us up a bit and the restaurant has such a great atmosphere being right on the beach. It's so nice to have sand between your toes while you enjoy a cocktail or two or more. The quality of the cocktails here was far far superior to Katha Thani and we were excited about dinner. We ordered a prawn salad which was deliciously spicy but the highlight was a superb red duck curry with apple and pea eggplants, pineapple and grapes. The curry sauce was so good I couldn't help eating I like soup! Charlie had pizza! After dinner we took our cocktails down to the beach to play in the sand and watch the fire twirling show and do some dancing with Charlie. I'm sure the cocktails helped but we all had such a great night. It was easily the best night of the holiday so far and that's saying a lot as we have had so many great nights already. I was constantly thanking Tina for booking such a wonderful place and enjoying myself so much I was bursting with happiness. I had expected to enjoy this holiday but this was more than I could have hoped for. We will find it very hard to leave.
