I had read about this dish but had not expected to find it while I was here. While wandering back to the BTS from Platinum Fashion Mall I noticed the basket of live tiny shrimp jumping around and new immediately what it was. Of course I had to try it much to Tina's disgust. The vendor wasn't at the stall but after a short wait she returned and mixed me up a serve for 50 Baht. There was a bit if laughing from nearby vendors but I wasn't perturbed. It was actually quite tasty and very spicy. I managed to finish about half of it which I felt was a pretty good effort.
Well done - but don't think I'll be in a hurry to try this one!
